About Chestnut Farm

A family-run business with over 120 years of history, Chestnut Farm dates back to the 16th century with the original farmhouse and was home to one of Britain’s oldest caravan parks since 1899. The Smith and Dearlove families have welcomed visitors across generations. In 2000, farm buildings were lovingly converted into six holiday cottages, and today, the site has evolved into a thriving residential community of modern lodges and beautifully restored cottages—blending heritage with contemporary living.
