Chestnut Farm has launched a brand new development of one and two bedroom residential lodges for the over 45’s to purchase.
The new contemporary homes are finished to the highest standard with every detail considered from the high-end finishes, homely touches to the latest technology.
Located on the riverside, Chestnut Farm is located in the picturesque village of Acaster Malbis. Lodge owners can make the most of the tranquil countryside life, whilst only being a ten minute drive from York city centre.
The lodge development has a Residential agreement which allows owners to live in their home 12 months of the year and use the lodge as their main residential address.
Phase One is currently in development, with prices starting from £130,000 for the one bedroom lodge.
Choose from four different styles of modular lodge living:
- The Wharfegate: A one bedroom studio lodge with 281 sq ft space
- The Fossgate: A two bedroom and two bathroom lodge with 484 sq ft space
- The Ousegate: A two bedroom and one bathroom twin unit lodge with 628 sq ft space
- The Ousgegate Plus: A larger version of the Ousegate with more space available to create larger rooms or additional rooms such as ensuite, dressing room, utility or home office.
Each lodge has a standard design and layout, however if the purchaser is buying off plan there is the opportunity to alter the layout to suit your requirements.

The showlodges are now available to view, by appointment only. Appointments are available from 9am – 5pm, seven days a week.
